Finishing Up

Hello!

I was just done with my last performance of the semester, playing the flute. It was my fellow music major’s group that fuses orchestra with band, and plays pop and jazz songs written by three friends. It was a good show! We sped up a lot though o_o

The rest of the weekend I am just going to sit somewhere with my computer, try to type up my thoughts into 5 different things including final paper, thesis, grad school apps and whatnots >.< also, I find myself spending so much time worrying and feeling incapable. There’s no cure, I just need to get my shiz together.

Oh and I came across a baking/cooking blog of a blogger/baker/food photographer who lives in New England. She’s one of those people who would make their own marshmallows and graham crackers before assembling Smore’s… make cakes from special types of flour and the best quality chocolate… measure things in grams and not cups… and drive to a specific farm to get cornbread flour and artisan cheese. Very like… how should I say this… an elite epicure who embodies stereotypes people have of upper-class New England people. I guess. I mean, I would try the recipe IF ONLY I have pistachio flour, vanilla bean, fresh orchard peaches, and a food scale…

But wow, so much dedication for taste. I admire people who really take their time crafting food. The blog screams “good life”, not just “good food”. And the pictures are absolutely exquisite, so go look!

Can’t believe I just spent 30 minutes on this blog… *sigh
