Also, the description of my thesis topic (or “big paper”, will print it on A3 paper. Just kidding) is a bit off. As far as my research goes, Pasaribu wrote only works for piano and strings (and “songs”/patriotic marches) and not Indonesian instruments. Ha. I still feel no one would read my thesis but I will send it to my three main sources.
But anyway, reading what topics seniors are doing their thesis on… O_o woah. What range. What awesomeness o_o I feel a bit intimidated, haha. Time to spend more days and nights in my beloved Olin carrel.
Also, I am looking forward to help 3 other seniors (including Alan Rodi with his “Mao” musical) next semester as well as having my piano thesis recital. Got about 10 little works lined up— must practice. Will be quite an exciting way to finish up these 4 years at Wesleyan… almost there.
(Still in Freiburg. Going back to Amurrica on Monday— after which I will fit writing about adventures in Freiburg, Strasbourg, Milan, and Basel in between thesis writing. Bis dann!)
