Brahms Intermezzo Op. 118 No. 2. pf: Anna Gourari
I used to think this piece is rather boring. Only now (after playing it 6 times while reading essays on Asian aesthetics) do I realize that it is an absolutely beautiful piece :) oh, I guess great interpretation by the pianist too.
In a way, learning music history and biographies changed the way I appreciate music. I mean, what kind of soul could possibly write such piece? #and pardon me my taste is for the most part stuck in the 19th century
MY SPIRIT HAS BEEN CHARGED. if only Brahms were still alive I’d give him a bearhug :3
